The BDO M&A team acted as lead advisor to the shareholders of Econis AG on the sale to WIIT S.p.A. This included the preparation of the sales documents, support during the buyer's due diligence, negotiations and the entire process management up to the completion of the transaction.
Econis AG is a Swiss IT service provider specialising in the provision of customised infrastructure solutions and managed services. The company offers a wide range of services, including cloud solutions, IT security and data management, to support the digital transformation of companies. In 2023, Econis AG generated revenue of CHF 29.6 million, with managed services accounting for 60 per cent, consulting for 15 per cent and IT trading for 25 per cent.
WIIT S.p.A. is an Italian company specialising in cloud computing and managed IT services, offering solutions for the private, public and hybrid cloud in particular.
